Jason Njoku , is a Nigerian internet entrepreneur, and is CEO and founder of Iroko Partners which manages Iroko TV.

Most Nigerians enjoy watching Nollywood movies; however accessing these movies was not easy. Recognising the increased demand and the limited access to quality, legal movies online, Jason moved to Lagos from the UK to start Iroko Partners with the aim of bringing Nigerian entertainment online.

Jason founded Iroko Partners with Bastian Gotter in December 2010 with headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. He then launched iROKOtv, which is now the largest legal distributor of African movies in the world, on 1st December 2011 and by the end of the year the website had received 152 million views with 90% of them outside Africa.

Within 18 months the company has grown with offices in Lagos, London and recently New York.

Jason secured $ 8 million in funding from a US Based Hedge Fund Tiger Global invest in April 2012. Another investment of about $2 million then followed again in July 2012 led by Swedish-based hedge fund Kinnevik.

Today IROKO Partners is the  largest distributors of Nigerian movies, with a library of over 5000 licensed movies.
